Learning Resource Centre Staff

There are three library staff who are able to help you find information, both online and in print, renew and reserve books for you and also loan out books for you.

There are also three mentors available to assist senior students with their studies.  The mentor's can assist students during class time, lunch time and after school with a range of subjects including english, literature, maths and science. 

Borrowing

Students are able to borrow 10 items at a time, including 2 DVD's.

Items are on loan for 28 days (DVD's 14 days) and can be renewed twice either online via the Learning Resource Centre webpage or by asking a library staff member.

Staff are able to borrow unlimited items except for DVD's of which only two can be borrowed at a time.

Resources

The Learning Resource Centre contains a wide variety of books, videos and newspapers.  All items in the Learning Resource Centre can be searched by our online catalogue.  Click here to search for an item from the Learning Resource Centre.

 There are computers available for students to use and also a video/DVD room.

All items in the Learning Resource Centre are able to be searched for online via the Library catalogue.

Sebastopol College has entered into a partnership with Central Highlands Regional Library Corporation(CHRLC) which allows Sebastopol College students and staff access to more than 300,000 items.  These items can be found by searching the CHRLC online catalogue.  Items can be reserved and will be delivered to Sebastopol College for students and staff to collect.

Loan Policy

Students

• Students can borrow up to 10 items at a time (with the exception of DVD's)
• Students can borrow 2 DVD's at a time
• Students can borrow items for 28 days (with the exception of DVD's)
• Students can borrow DVD's for 14 days
• All items can be renewed twice, unless another borrower has placed a reservation on the item

Staff

• Staff can borrow unlimited items at a time (with the exception of DVD's)

Overdue Policy

• All borrowers will recieve an overdue notice 7 days after the item is due
• All borrowers will recieve a second overdue notice 14 days after the item is due
• All borrowers will recieve a third and final notice including the replacement cost of the item 28 days after the due
