"AN EXCITING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT"
Sebastopol College students benefit from the recent development of outstanding facilities at the College. These include a Science Centre, Sports Centre, Vocational Skills Centre, Senior School Study Centre and modern refurbished classrooms, all linked to extensive e-learning facilities including computer pods. The Year 7 Learning Centre is an innovative facility complementing the specialised programs provided for Junior students.
The College's commitment to quality e-learning facilities recognises that students and staff must be able to utilise electronic learning technologies with confidence and understanding, to enhance their teaching and learning and ability to articipate in an evolving information technologies world.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Sebastopol college recognises the importance of providing an extensive range of experiences beyond the classroom for students. These co-curricula experiences motivate and challenge students to develop identity, creativity and leadership qualities.
SPORT AND OUTDOOR EDUCATION
The College is recognised nationally as an outstanding sports program school. With Exemplar/Specialist Sports School status students are able to participate at an elite level. Students regularly represent the College at international, national, state and regional levels both in teams and individually. The programs are designed to enable all students to engage and experience success. The College House system promotes healthy competition and participation. The outdoor education program challenges studenrs with activities that include camping, surfing, rock climbing, survival and self-reliance in the outdoors environment.
PERFORMING ARTS
A stimulating program of performing arts enhances the life of all students at Sebastopol. Beyond the classroom students participate in instrumental music tuition and ensembles. The College is a regular participant in the Rock Eisteddfod, winning a number of awards. The College Musical has become a highlight of the school calendar with the many and varied talents of the students showcased.
