INTERMEDIATE NETBALL SPORTS REPORT

Having trained very hard through try outs and team selections, two teams went to Llanberris on May 20^th to represent the Intermediate section with lots of enthusiasm and a real team camaraderie. Our A team played five games over the day and had 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Our top goal scorers for the day were Chantelle and Carissa Loveday and our best players were Tamieka Snowden, Jaimee Mathieson and Shani Cain. All 10 girls on the A team played really well and the losses to Ballarat High and Mt. Clear culminated in those teams playing off for representation with Ballarat High the winner.

Sebastopol College 13 defeated Ballarat Secondary College 11

Ballarat High School 42 defeated Sebastopol College 3

Mt. Clear College defeated Sebastopol College 2

Sebastopol College 15 defeated Beaufort Secondary College 10

Sebastopol College 10 drew with Daylesford Secondary College 10

Team members were Shani Cain, Ruby Firns, Carissa and Chantelle Loveday-Lamont, Jaimee Mathieson, Shelby Pelchen, Monique Peters, Tamieka Snowden, Victoria Thomas and Amber Webster.

Team umpire for the day was Alana Thomas who did a fantastic job.

Our B team played three games over the day and had 2 wins and 1 loss. Our top goal scorers for the day were Breannan Murray and Amanda Colbourne and the best players were Abbey Bell, Shannen Parsons, Bec Van Oirschot and Breannan Murray. All 8 girls did a great job and their only loss was to eventual winners Mt. Clear.

Coaches Karen Jolly and Jenny Haber were very pleased with all the girls who represented the College in an outstanding fashion
