Senior Girls Netball - shooting goals to win local competition

Wednesday 13th May saw some excellent competition and results from our Senior Girls Netball team at the Western Zone Competition. The team consisting of Alana Thomas, Chloe Irvin, Jacinta Hogan, Kelsey Mason, Nicole David, Tegan Pails, Jenaye Godden, Brittany Evans, Megan Sutherland, Sarah Doonan and Krystal Webster .

Decked out in new dresses donated by the Sebastopol Netball Club our girls came out fierce and competitive against their competition. Over the day we saw some excellent skills shown by all team members and they set the standard high. Unfortunately Ballarat High was too strong in the final match of the day seeing the girls come runners’ up in second. A fantastic team results and the girls should be commended for their great sportsmanship and efforts throughout the day. A special thanks to Miss O’Beirne for training the team in the lead up to competition day.
